Mar 28-Monday Day 32Chem 112- Today you worked with finding mass from moles. From the mole handout I assigned 1 to 5 (the second bunch). I will also assign some questions from another handout #1 to 3. We went over two demos today: copper and silver nitrate and sodium hydroxide and hydrochloric acid.
Chem 122-We will work with indicators today. I will also go over 1 to 4 from the handout from last thursday. We also went over the Ka, Kb questions. I did a quick demo to illustrate how an indicator works. You did 1 to 4 from the white board in class. You will start some group work with amphiprotic and acid/base table. This will be completed tomorrow.
Chem 111-Today you will get sheet 18 and divide the work up and share it with a partner. I will check your answers to the mole worksheet. You also got a copy of another handout. Please do the question on law of conservation of mass. Do not forget to have the questions completed from friday.

Chem 112- I will do a big homework check. I hope to start balancing today.We will go over particles to mol and vice versa. Please do 1-5, 1-5 from the bottom left corner of mole worksheet. We will also try chemgo.
Chem 122- You completed the group work. I did an overview of titration. I went over a pre-lab. Remember no contact lenses, nylons or open toed shoes on thursday as we will start labs.Do p 616 #37a,b,c.
Chem 111- You were given time to do the raindrop mole assignment.. I went over formation and decomposition .You did some notes on this on friday with the supply teacher. Chem 112-We will complete balancing today. Please do bottom left hand corner of mole worksheet. You used the formula n=m/6.02 x 10 ^23 You worked in pairs on Sheet 18.
Chem 122- Labs will begin tomorrow. For those away with Engineer shadow Day, the top right worksheet from the pink handout was assigned. I went over strong acids and bases today. Be sure to not wear contacts and open toed shoes or nylons tomorrow as we begin labs.
